SoCal Adventures!!! 3-16-15

This email will be kind of short, were on a tight schedule today.

This week was a little slower than usual. We weren’t able to meet with many of our investigators, but we were able to pick up a few new ones. It was about 92 degrees this week and so I’m a little redder than usual, haha.
We were able to meet with Anaid but it was her little brothers birthday who just turned 8 so it was kind of crazy. I don’t know if you know too much about Hispanic culture, but they throw HUGE parties, for just about anything! We went into the back yard, we were the only white people let alone the only Mormons, everyone else was Hispanic and catholic, (we got some pretty funny looks from the old people hahaha) they had music blasting and a DJ, everyone was drinking Corona, there were hundreds of people everywhere crammed into this little back yard, people dancing it was awesome!! haha. We also got a ton of Mexican candy, its spicy and so dang good! We went back the next day and everyone that stayed the night was hung over or "cruda", haha. People passed out on the couches and stuff. It was pretty funny. Everyone except Anaid of course, she is a stud.

I finished reading the Book of Mormon this last week and I really liked one of the last things Moroni had to say it makes a lot of sense. He says in 10:20 "Wherefore, there must be faith; and if there must be faith there must also be hope; and if there must be hope there must also be charity." It all starts with faith and everything else will fall into place.
